With Your Help
We will Rebuild Louisiana
Through Education

Since the recent hurricanes devastated so many schools in south Louisiana, State Superintendent of Education Cecil J. Picard has received thousands of generous offers of help. He has set up a Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund that will operate through a non-profit foundation which will carefully match your monetary donation with the needs of each and every school system affected by the storm. You can also donate supplies such as book bags, textbooks, school supplies and uniforms. Every donation will be used to help get south Louisiana students back into the classroom and into the stable, safe environment that they need so badly at this time. In their name, we thank you for your generosity.
