Welcome to the Louisiana Department of Education’s LEAP/GEE Help Center. We are excited about helping you prepare for these very important exams. This Help Center gives access to many programs that provide both students and parents with questions and online tutorials for each exam. Also, be sure to check out Newton’s Classroom, which will help sharpen your math skills.

If you are preparing to take the LEAP, a Tutoring Hotline has been created to answer your questions. We have made practice books available to all schools and recommend that students complete several lessons from the practice books each night leading up to the test. Tutors will be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning March 9 to March 31, 2009, to help students who need assistance with those questions. You may also review the practice books online by clicking the link on the left marked LEAP Tutoring Helpline. There you will find more resources. Questions and answers are available, but if more help is needed, please call the Tutoring Hotline at 1-877-453-2721. LEAP, iLEAP and GEE exams will be given April 1st through 3rd, 6th and 7th in all public schools in Louisiana.
